把 Inkscape 調整為適合雷切檔案設計模式
格線設定。在 Inkscape 偏好設定 > 格線，將格線單位改為 mm 。這設定有助於更精準的物件造型對齊與調整。
變形設定。在 Inkscape 偏好設定 > 變形，將縮放邊框寬度、縮放矩形的圓角選項取消。這避免在繪圖的過程中縮放物件，影響到線條的粗細、圓角的弧度大小變化，最後雷切的成品有誤差。
補充:在0.91 版 Inkscape>編輯>偏好設定>行為>變形 與 Inkscape>編輯>偏好設定>介面>格線
安裝雷切用色彩調色盤。這幾種顏色常被各種雷切機用來當作切割與雕刻的分別。下載解壓縮雷切用色彩調色盤並且放到 palettes 檔案夾，使用時按下視窗右下角的調色盤旁的 <，點選 LaserCut 5.3 Layers 就可以切換到雷切用色彩調色盤。

Mac:應用程式 ▸ Inkscape ▸ Contents ▸ Resources ▸ palettes
Linux: ~/.config/inkscape/palettes
設定為 RGB 色彩模式。在 Inkscape 檔案 > 文件屬性 > 色彩管理 > 可用的色彩描述檔選擇 Adobe RGB (1998)
文件屬性設定。在 Inkscape 檔案 > 文件屬性，將一般中的預設單位與自訂尺寸的單位都改為 mm 。
用 Inkscape 完成雷切檔案的注意事項
若有文字，請轉成路徑。點選路徑 >>> 物件轉成路徑。
儲存檔案，請選擇 pdf 檔案格式。因為其他軟體去開啟 inkscape 的 svg 檔案會有變形的狀況。
